Virtually anyone, from toddler to teenager and pensioner, can go walking in the Peak District; you don't have to be super fit or an athelete. You can go as a group, take the kids or go on your own; the Peak District as so many enjoyable, scenic and inspiring walks; for all ages and abilities. From the mountain top of Kinder Scout (Edale or Hayfield) to pleasant gravel paths circuling Ladybower reservior, taking in the visitor centre at Fairholmes; there is a walk for just about everyone.
Cheers,
Steve - Peak District walker
